Metadata troubleshooting checklist

Follow the metadata path from automation system to listener display.

Check the metadata source first: confirm the automation or playout system is producing the current artist and title. Then verify that the encoder receives and parses the value.

Next verify that the streaming server accepts the update and that the listener-facing endpoint exposes it.

Provide the expected title, actual title, station name, stream URL, source type, and time the mismatch began. Do not treat a metadata-only fault as an audio outage unless audio is also affected.
