Understanding automatic reconnect and self-healing

What SW Encoder attempts when an output or component becomes unhealthy.

SW Encoder is designed so recoverable component faults can be handled as locally as possible. An output problem should not require restarting unrelated audio capture or another station.

Reconnect behavior uses the configured retry settings and runtime health information. Repeated failures may remain visible in diagnostics until the remote service becomes available again.

If reconnection continues indefinitely, investigate the underlying server, network, authentication, or configuration error instead of treating retries as the root cause.
