HTTP Poll retrieves metadata from a configured web endpoint at intervals. HTTP Push accepts incoming metadata updates at the configured receiver. Local File reads metadata from a file maintained by the automation or playout system.
Use the source that best matches your existing system. Confirm character encoding, expected parser format, and update behaviour during testing.
If a source stops updating, use Metadata Diagnostics to distinguish source-read problems from destination-delivery problems.
