Configure the station's automatic metadata source as TCP Server and set the required listening address and port. Configure your automation system to connect to that address and send the expected metadata line format.
Test with a simple known value and verify that SW Encoder receives, parses, and routes it to the intended destination.
Only expose a listening port to networks that require access. Use appropriate host firewall and network security controls.
