Understanding connection timing

What HTTP response and first-audio timing can and cannot tell you.

Connection timing can show how long it took to receive an HTTP response and how long it took before audio data became available to the analyzer.

These values are useful for connection diagnostics but are not the same as total broadcast end-to-end latency.

True listener latency can also include contribution transport, encoder delay, server buffering, network delivery, and player buffering.
