Adding and managing a monitored stream

When adding a stream, use the correct listener-facing stream URL and identify the station clearly. Confirm protocol, hostname, port, and mount/path where applicable.

After saving, verify that the stream appears in monitoring and that fresh checks are being recorded. If you edit a live monitor, review the next checks to confirm the new configuration is being used.

Avoid entering source passwords or encoder credentials unless a specific protected field explicitly requires them.
